Déjà vu Art is operated by and for the SPIRIT OF FREEDOM FOUNDATION which is a non-profit, tax exempt private operating foundation dedicated to Human Values and Economics History Education.
The Foundation began in Ohio on January 15, 2001 to promote causes to help people enjoy better lives.
Rod Miller is the Founder & serves as Executive Director of the Foundation.
Miller's Marine Corps military obligation and college education spanned nine and a half years all while holding down full time employment to support a young family. He also participated in public affairs including political and Chamber of Commerce volunteer work. In 1963, he Joined IBM when computers were first coming to commercial markets. In 1967, he became a software industry pioneer and entrepreneur forming several innovative computing industry start-up ventures.
With over 50 years in executive sales of computing technologies, his alleged retirement means active engagement in promoting common sense causes. He recently published his first book: Spirit of Freedom: Living FREE vs. FREE Living. Look for it on Amazon.com. Click here for the Kindle Version.
The common thread of unrest in the world is the despair felt when people have abandoned hope of comfort or success. Improving the lot in life for most people involves a host of positive factors including a good job, a stable community, the opportunity for personal and business growth as well as a supportive and loving family. The proven American Free Enterprise Economic System is the operating model which can improve the lives of people throughout the world.
Our Mission is supported by the financial and asset contributions of the Founder. Sales from this website, eBay and ETSY and income from a donated apartment building helps us earn our keep. We have twelve (12) years as an eBay Seller with 100% feedback rating. We have sold a variety of items all over the world and now establishing a great new reputation on ETSY.
We accept donations that we can resell. Preferred items we can best handle now are quality artworks, books and smaller pieces such as collectibles, jewelry, watches etc. To date, we have received artwork, cars and an apartment building. We can provide you with a receipt for FAIR MARKET VALUE, however it is not tax deductible. Our accountant has prepared our 501(C)3 paperwork but it has not been submitted for IRS approval as yet.
Cash contributions are accepted via PayPal which seems to us to be much safer than online credit card donations. Checks can be made payable to SPIRIT OF FREEDOM FOUNDATION and sent to 21900 Addington Blvd. Suite 104 Cleveland OH 44116-3952.
